Our Initiatives
At Sandy Springs Together…
we believe in a community where every resident has the opportunity to thrive. Our mission is to drive awareness, foster inclusivity, and promote actionable solutions that address the most pressing challenges facing Sandy Springs. We are committed to ensuring that our city is not only a desirable place to live but also an affordable and welcoming home for people from all walks of life. Through our focused efforts, we strive to build a future where diversity is celebrated, voices are heard, and everyone has the chance to call Sandy Springs home.
Attainable Housing
Attainable Housing is a cornerstone of our work. We recognize that more than a third of Sandy Springs residents struggle with housing costs, which affects their ability to live and work in the community they love. Our efforts focus on advocating for policies and solutions that expand housing options for low to moderate-income residents, including essential workers such as teachers, first responders, and healthcare professionals. By addressing the housing affordability crisis, we aim to create a more equitable Sandy Springs where everyone has access to safe, attainable housing.
Sandy Springs Speaks
Central to our efforts is Sandy Springs Speaks, a program designed to amplify the voices of our residents. We believe that real change begins by listening to the people who call Sandy Springs home. Through a series of community events and forums, we provide a platform for residents to share their experiences, concerns, and ideas with local leaders and experts. Sandy Springs Speaks ensures that the needs of our community are heard and addressed, fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment among all residents.
Imagine Sandy Springs
Imagine Sandy Springs is our flagship initiative aimed at shaping a community that truly embodies inclusivity and diversity. We envision a city where every resident feels welcome, regardless of their background or income level. This initiative encourages the community to imagine a future where working families, young professionals, and seniors alike can afford to live and thrive. To solve our housing crisis we need to challenge the status quo and lay the ground work for a more connected and cohesive community.
