Our top priority is to keep our community as informed about affordable housing issues as we possibly can.

And we are hearing more and more people ask us where they can go to learn more about affordable housing, so we figured we’d provide a few resources where you can go to learn more about affordable housing in our region.

WHAT: Quarterly Meeting

TOPIC: A Strategic, Regional Approach to Addressing Metro Atlanta’s Housing Challenges

The Atlanta Regional Housing Forum is partnering with the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) to unveil a new regional housing strategy. Panelists include: Doug Hooker, ARC Exec. Director, Dave Stockert, Retired CEO of Post Properties, Marisa Ghani, Sr. Planner, ARC, and Dr. Tiffany Mauel, President and CEO TheCaseMade.

North Fulton Poverty Task Force

This group has been meeting for about 3 years. They hold meetings, open to the public, periodically throughout North Fulton,  and have a website and blog, see below… their focus includes several aspects that can lead our most vulnerable neighbors to poverty, including food in-security and lack of affordable housing.
